maybe because it will hook up but wont do anything how can they sell these things and they dont work. wont work something about colour dosnt match tv to computer monitor. dont waste time or money.
You need to have the right video card/hookups, capability for this to work. But, unless you know what you're doing, you're probably buying this cable for the wrong reasons, thinking it will allow you to display a pc on another monitor or television. There is nothing wrong with this product. It's a simple cable, nothing really to screw up.
I suspected this cable might not work and now I know for sure it's useless Connecting the laptop's vga port to the lcd tv's 15 pin vga jack worked great so obviously a sync signal is missing. Amazon did great and part arrived super fast but sadly it didn't work as I thought it would. I connected the cable from my laptop's vga output port to my lcd tv's rca jacks but the video was unsynced.
Don't cry about a product just because you didn't read the details Your graphics card needs to have a TV OUT function in order to work.
I have all those connections and need the S-video.but if it doesn't work, what have ya'll done to get your connection. I am wanting to connect my pc to the tv to view on tv via internet, this cable was recommended by a computer help place.
